Dr. Bradley Hercman specializes in psychoeducational evaluations and consultation, with a focus on assessment, intervention planning, and special education advocacy. Originally from Great Neck, NY, he earned his B.A. in Psychology from New York University, with a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. He went on to earn his M.S. in School Psychology and Psy.D. in Combined School-Clinical Child Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University.
Dr. Brad brings more than 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and school communities. His expertise includes developing individualized, strengths-based assessment plans and evidence-based recommendations designed to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning. He collaborates closely with students, families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to translate evaluation findings into practical interventions and educational supports.
Dr. Brad also has extensive experience supporting families through the special education process, including the development of individualized education programs (IEPs), Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, and Section 504 planning. His work emphasizes helping students access appropriate supports while building the skills needed for continued academic success and transitions to higher levels of education, including college.
Dr. Brad resides in Teaneck, NJ, with his wife and four children, who range from elementary through high school age.
