MPG's 1:1 ABA Educational Day Program is a full-day, clinic-based program for students whose needs may not be adequately supported in a traditional school setting. The program is classified as an Alternative Education Placement Program (AEPP).
Located at 15 West 86th Street in Manhattan, the program provides a structured, therapeutic environment with:
Continuous 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Academic and functional skill support aligned with each student's IEP goals
Related services coordinated on-site
Ongoing clinical supervision and data-based program adjustments
Support from master's-level Behavior Interventionists (BIs) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)

Our approach is individualized, collaborative, and focused on helping students build meaningful skills.
Students are involved in their own learning, and we continuously monitor their engagement and comfort.
We seek to understand the reason behind a behavior before determining how to respond. Our approach does not use punishment-based procedures.
Each student's program is based on individualized assessment. BCBAs regularly review data and adjust programming as needed.
Our BIs are highly trained to support students through difficult moments while building the relationships and skills that make learning possible.

The program may be appropriate for students ages 5–21 who:
Require consistent 1:1 support to participate in learning or functional activities
Have not made meaningful progress in previous public or private school placements
Experience significant behavioral or regulatory challenges that interfere with learning
Spend substantial portions of the school day unable to access instruction
Are currently receiving home instruction or are at risk of being placed on home instruction
Have experienced multiple placements without finding an environment that meets their needs
Even with additional supports, some students may struggle to access instruction and make progress in a traditional school environment.
Students may:
Make limited progress toward IEP goals despite 1:1 paraprofessional support
Spend significant portions of the day dysregulated or unable to participate in instruction
Be removed from the classroom or placed on a reduced schedule
Be receiving home instruction because an appropriate placement has not been identified
MPG's program provides an alternative setting with continuous 1:1 support throughout the school day.
Unlike programs that provide ABA in discrete therapy sessions, MPG's 1:1 ABA Educational Day Program integrates continuous 1:1 ABA into a full-day schedule.

Services are delivered primarily by master's-level clinicians, with BCBA supervision and hands-on involvement in daily programming. Student programs are reviewed regularly and adjusted based on ongoing data.

Our clinical team reviews relevant evaluations, IEPs, progress reports, and other records to better understand the student's needs and current placement.
We conduct a virtual or in-person screening to assess the student's needs and determine whether the program is an appropriate fit.
If the program is appropriate, we develop an individualized proposal outlining recommended services, including ABA, supervision, instruction, and related therapies.
We work with families and their legal representatives to determine the appropriate funding pathway.
Admission is rolling. There is no firm start date until student interest is confirmed. Once a student begins, we monitor progress continuously and adjust services based on data.
We offer flexible funding options, including hourly billing and tuition-based billing, depending on the order and timing of the student's start date.
